The event Connected Cities of Learning: L'apprendimento in rete, taking place on Friday, May 20th at Palazzo Regio in Cagliari, will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices between the partners of the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and local partners and stakeholders regarding digital badges and micro-credentials used as a tool for recognising learning and achievements.
We will share the projects that make up the Cities and Regions of Learning initiative, what our platform is all about and how we implement badges in non-formal education settings.
Learn more about the Cities and Regions of Learning initiative, the platform and badges, as well as the Connected Cities of Learning project;
Exchange experiences related to the use of badges as micro-credentials in a wide variety of learning environments (from the business sector to formal and non-formal education settings);
Create new networking opportunities on a local and international level, by exchanging ideas, contacts and opinions, and sharing good practices.

The holder of this badge has taken part in the meeting between the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, Associazione Interculturale Nur and the partners from Ljubljana City of Learning (TiPovej! and the City of Ljubljana) and Vilnius City of Learning (Nectarus and Creativitas), and the stakeholders and partners from the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, organised in Cagliari (Italy) at Palazzo Regio on May 20th 2022 in the framework of the project Connected Cities of Learning.
The event, called Connected Cities of Learning: L'apprendimento in rete, was a networking opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices between the partners of the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and local partners and stakeholders regarding digital badges and micro-credentials used as a tool for recognising learning and achievements.
It involved, among others, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari-Oristano, Eurodesk Italy, Europe Direct Regione Sardegna, Imago Mundi, Sardarch and Unica Radio, who shared more about their own use of badges and the importance of micro-credentials in EU priorities for the upcoming years.
During the meeting, participants have:
Learned more about the Cities and Regions of Learning initiative, the platform and badges, as well as the Connected Cities of Learning project;
Exchanged experiences related to the use of badges as micro-credentials in a wide variety of learning environments (from the business sector to formal and non-formal education settings);
Created new networking opportunities on a local and international level, by exchanging ideas, contacts and opinions, and sharing good practices.
