What is better than a Belvedere to get a bird's eye view of the city?
Not everyone knows that Cagliari sits on seven hills just like Rome, Lisbon, Istanbul and many other major European cities, which means that if you are looking for a viewpoint from which to admire the city at a glance from up top, the hills will be the first destination to choose.

For this activity, you can start from Bastione di Saint Remy and explore the historical area of Castello going up from there, especially if you're tackling this activity right after activity 3 in the playlist.

We recommend the use of Google Maps for finding your way.

Hint: if you don’t have internet access through your phone’s mobile data, turn on your wi-fi and look for “Free Wi-Fi Ca” network. Much of the city centre is covered by this open wi-fi network that allows you to navigate for 3 consecutive hours for free by just accepting their terms and conditions.

There are plenty viewpoints in the historical centre of Castello, from where you can see the entire city and the whole gulf.
Find one of the many Belvedere in town and take a fun or creative group picture (or selfie) with the view at your back - then upload it as evidence.

Task no.2

Can you spot one or two monuments or landmarks that you already visited, from up above?

Take a picture, then modify it by drawing on it: point an arrow or draw a circle around the landmarks you can recognize and write down their names, then upload the modified picture as evidence.

Task no.3

Take a panoramic picture to show the city at its best: do you like it more when looking on towards Poetto beach, with the Devil’s Saddle in the distance? Or is it nicer on the other side, with the harbour in full view and the historical centre unfolding below you?
Pick your favourite view and upload your best picture as evidence.
Bonus points if you can get a sunset shot!
