I have skills in learning another language by cooperating with others as well as learning from others.
I am aware of useful resources for language learning and I have useful insights on how to start learning a new language.
I had to accomplish at least 3 out of 4 tasks to earn this badge and evidence was reviewed and confirmed by my mentor.
The badge is part of the Achievements Programme for the European Solidarity Corps.

This badge is about developing your own strategy and preference in learning the local language.
Find someone to teach some basics of your language in your organisation or your volunteering place. In return, ask that person or group of people to help you learn some basics in the local language too.
For the evidence, describe briefly who was your learning peer partner and what new things you learn.
The task is completed after the mentor confirms your evidence.

There are quite some interesting resources to learn a local language. Share some tools or resources which you used to progress in learning the language.

Think of your experience of learning the local language so far. What tips would you have for a newly arriving volunteer on learning a language faster and more efficiently?
